Cable Associate
No experience required! In this entry-level position, you’ll receive hands-on mentorship from experienced staff. Learn how to install structured cabling and support systems, pull cable, manage materials, basic terminations, and more.
Installer 1
After a year of experience, you can move onto the role of Installer 1. In addition to your basic duties, you’ll install wireless access points, cameras, DAS antennas, and others.
Installer 2
With two years of experience, Installer 2 positions are available to you. You’ll be trained to build out telecom equipment rooms, install equipment racks and termination panels, and learn the challenging termination process.
Installer Technician (3yr)
In the third year of your career, you earn the Installer Technician title. You will read blueprints and lead a small crew of Cable Associates and Installers. Additionally, you’ll be trained in the complex craft of fusion splicing fiber optic cables.
Installer Technician (4yr)
At four years, you’ll advance within the Installer Technician role. Learn to setup and use industry rated test equipment to certify copper and fiber optic structured cabling. You’ll also be trained in the art of cable dressing and patch panel terminating.
Technician
With five years under your belt, you’ll reach the benchmark position of Technician. You’ll supervise a crew and manage project installations. Using cutting-edge software, you’ll enter payroll for the crew and review and markup technology blueprints.
Project Supervisor
The most advanced position in our career path, Project Supervisors have at least ten years of experience in the field. You’ll manage structured cabling projects and be able to supervise crews of up to 30 workers.
